For those who will wade through all the hype from both sides of the issue, is the legalization of marijuana actually going to be a good thing? Certainly, it will take a big chunk out of organized crime revenues. But what about the health issues for the increase in users that will inevitably come with legalization? Alcohol is legal; the cost to taxpayers in crimes commited while under the influence and health damage from abuse has been staggering. Will pot do the same thing?
