I am very pleased to see Franklin Graham making such a statement, and it gives me hope that there are still well known Christian leaders in the world who actually will publicly stand up for what they believe, rather than being the hypocrites so many are.
I believe very strongly that everyone is entitled to their opinion. What sickens me is when someone claims to be a Christian, and then denies what their book (the Bible they claim to be their sole source for faith and practice) says. You can’t have it both ways. If you claim to be a Christian, man up and stand up and take the bricks that get chucked at you by those who hate what you see so plainly in the pages of your Bible.
Phil Robertson and I would have a lot to talk about, and would definitely disagree on some things, but I am very pleased that a man who is in the spotlight as he is does not back down in the name of political correctness. Hypocrisy simply sickens me.
